The story
begins with yarn.
Leyba's textile story begins in Istanbul in 1974, when Osman Özdaş started trading yarn.
This early experience created a foundation built on understanding yarn, textile production and the needs of manufacturers.
1995
From yarn
to knitting.
In 1995, Leyba Textile moved into circular knitting manufacturing.
Production began with 8 circular knitting machines, marking the transition from textile trading experience into fabric manufacturing.
Growth
Building
capability.
The knitting operation expanded gradually over the years.
That growth was shaped by machine investment, technical capability, fabric variety, development experience and customer requirements.
Today
56 machines.
300 tons / month.
Today, Leyba operates a 56-machine circular knitting park with an approximate monthly knitting capacity of 300 tons.
The operation combines fabric manufacturing, custom fabric development and yarn trading.
